Where are we? The Head Of Steam Huddersfield is actually located in the main buildings of Huddersfield railway station, occupying most of the west end. We have direct entrances from Platform 1 and from St. George's Square. How to get there Bus: We are in the town centre, so any bus will drop you near to the train station. The bus station is about 200m west of the pub. Rail: Huddersfield (Platform 1) A bit about the outlet The station buildings are regarded as the best in Britain, and are grade 1 listed. When we took the premises over, they had been largely derelict for a great many years. We carried out a big renovation project and opened in March 1996. The outlet is a large, 4-roomed pub, with the rooms in 'quarters' around a central servery area. Each room has its own character and its own locals!
