LYH is one of our newest acquisitions, and is in the shopping centre of Newcastle upon Tyne (just off the main shopping area - Northumberland Street - between Santander and Pacific). The pub has a narrow exterior, but is very big once you get inside! How to get there Easy. We are just around the corner from Haymarket bus and metro stations. Bus: Any that stop next to Haymarket or John Dobson Street Quaylink bus: Haymarket Metro: Haymarket A bit about the outlet LYH (previously known as Shamrox, Stepps, Huxters, and many more!) is a lovely pub on 2 levels, with an increasing range of real ales and world beers. There is a full food service available, with an excellent menu. All food is freshly prepared on the premises. All major sporting events are shown on the five 42" TVs as well as the giant screen. The upper bar is ideal for parties, functions and meetings, and there is no hire charge if food is being served (there is a £50 charge otherwise). LYH has something for everyone; Rock nights, Live Sport, Open Mic nights, Quiz nights, and Rockaoke (Newcastle's first 'Rock Music Only' karaoke). We are also family-friendly, with a Kids Club during all school holidays, plus a Kids Menu, colouring-in sheets, games and films all shown upstairs on the big screen.
