The Head of Steam – Manchester NQ is the 16th pub from The Head of Steam. This craft beer pub is located at 16 Newton Street, on the edge of Manchester’s iconic Northern Quarter. Housed in a beautifully restored Grade II-listed building, this sprawling 2,800 sq ft venue offers space for around 180 guests in a characterful setting featuring exposed brickwork and a striking circular central bar.
Inside, you’ll find an extensive beer selection with 30 lines comprising 24 keg and 6 cask options, spotlighting the best of UK craft beers and Belgian favourites. There’s also a rotating range of cans and bottles, a refined cocktail menu, premium spirits, and a bespoke wine list.

Fat Smash Burgers is all about the perfect burger! A hybrid between the thick smokehouse burgers and the classic smash burger, we’ve really found the sweet spot!
